Biomass Briquettes are widely used in thermal applications like steam generation in boilers, furnace, foundries (It can be used for metal heating & melting where melting point is less than 1000d/cel.) and in domestic applications, institutions of higher learning and schools. They are also used in drying process and in gasification plants, as a substitute or alternative to conventional fossil fuels and Firewood.

With the rising awareness and demand for bio-mass briquettes, more and more industries across the sector are waking up to its benefits. Governments and UN agencies have realized its significance as cheaper and eco-friendly alternative to conventional sources of fuels and energies. Other benefits include earlier availability, easy trasportation, high density, a renewable source of energy and pollution free.
